Getting employees to comply to the rules is one of the toughest tasks faced by any Health and Safety professional.
Many employees don’t take workplace safety seriously and often disregard regulations. Often this is because they believe it’s down to the individual to look out only for their own health and safety and not for their colleagues.
They either lack the skills and confidence to take on the role of being an H&S representative. Or they have a lack of confidence that their managers will not take on board what they have to say.
